In brief

What works, what to weigh

+

Strengths

4 reasons to book
  • Breakfast that guests rave about — Multiple reviews highlight fresh flatbreads every morning and a wide, hearty spread. It's consistently called 'amazing' and 'delicious'.
  • Genuinely helpful staff — From arranging cruises and tours to early check-in with breakfast on arrival, the team goes out of their way. Several reviews name specific staff members.
  • Rooftop pool with views — The heated rooftop pool overlooks the city, and the sun terrace offers a place to unwind. There's also an indoor pool for cooler days.
  • Strong location for sightseeing — A short walk to the Grand Bazaar and a quick drive to Hagia Sophia, with the tram stop nearby for reaching other attractions.

Worth weighing

4 to weigh
  • Rooms are on the small side — Several reviews note that rooms feel compact, especially for the price. It's a trade-off for the central location.
  • No lift to the first floor — A few reviews mention stairs to the first floor—though most say it's not a real issue. If you have heavy luggage, it's worth knowing.
  • Parking is not mentioned — The hotel doesn't list on-site parking, and the Old City streets are narrow. If you're driving, you'll need to find a public lot nearby.
  • Pets are not allowed — The hotel has a strict no-pets policy, which may be a limitation if you're travelling with an animal.

“The staff here are fantastic—anything you need, they'll sort it. The location is super close to the Grand Bazaar but a bit far from Taksim. They arranged two great trips for me, one by boat and one by bus, at decent prices. Breakfast is hearty and more than enough. The spa massage is relaxing, and the one flight of stairs to the first floor is no big deal—ignoring the silly complaints. Good value; if you want better, you pay more. Special thanks to Yunes at reception and everyone else.”

“Staff were incredibly pleasant. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location was a plus—we could reach all the tourist spots by tram. Rooms are a bit small, but there's a spa and pool. Excellent value.”

“Really nice hotel! Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices, and they had fresh flatbreads every morning. Staff were all so friendly, especially the lovely housekeeping lady who always greeted us with a smile. The heated pool had an amazing view, perfect to relax after exploring. Location is very convenient, close to the Grand Bazaar.”

“Glad I stayed here for 4 nights. Staff were top-notch, breakfast was excellent in every way, the bed was very comfortable, and the walls were thick enough not to hear the neighbours. I'd return.”
